As the current English premier league season is coming to an end, its no longer news that the future of the Manchester United star man is in the airs again with reports that Arsenal can be interested in the Manchester United winger for about 70 million pounds.

Marcus Rashford Worrisome form

Marcus Rashford has definitely not been in his best form this season scoring 7 Premier League goals while assisting twice in 31 premier league matches as opposed to the 17 goals and 5 assist in 35 premier league matches last season . This has made fans and supporters question, should he really be the main man for the club ? Should he still be in the club or should the club cash in on him as soon as they can as is reported that Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta is a fan of the prolific winger and will be willing to sign him for up to 70 million pounds if it’s totally up to him.

Meanwhile, Marchus Rashford has been advised to remain at Manchester United by former Red Devils star, Dwight Yorke who is of the belief that the United Starman is only out of form for a while and will return to fine form within a short period of time. He said “Rashford to Arsenal, I think that would be a stupid move. He only recently signed a new contract with the Manchester Club and it will be a stupid move if he does”. Yorke said “”Rashford needs to be happy with his surroundings, in training, to perform the way we know he’s capable of doing. We don’t know the ins and outs, there’s lots of talks that he’s not happy, but he may be happy and just be lacking form. I don’t really take too much notice when you hear everybody’s opinions, but I believe Rashford is in the right place”

Arsenal Legend on Marcus Rashford

Meanwhile,  Arsenal Legend Emmanuel Petit is of the belief that the London Club should attempt to sign  Marcus Rashford. He also believes one of the player’s issues may be associated with his private life. “I think he’s very sensitive and he must attempt to find a balance between his professional and private life. If he finds the balance he will be incredible once again. We all know his qualities and skills, but I’m wondering mentally if he can reach the standards of where he should be.” Emmauel Petit said. This may not be far from true due to the player’s recent display and behaviour that has not pleased the club and fans alike. Rashford was fined two weeks’ wages of £650,000 and dropped for the FA Cup fourth round win at Newport County in January. Rashford has been on the bad side of the club twice this season, having been criticized for going to a birthday party on Deansgate just after Manchester United lost 3-0 to Manchester City at Old Trafford in October.

However, the Manchester United star has reassured his fans of his unending commitment to the club saying “Listen, I’m not a perfect person. When I make a mistake, I’ll be the first one to put my hand up and say that I need to do better. But if you ever question my commitment to Man United, the club of my life, that’s when I have to speak up. It’s like somebody questioning my entire identity, and everything I stand for as a man.”

Meanwhile, as the transfer window starts to heat up, we can’t be sure of anything yet. What’s your opinion? Rashford to Arsenal, a good deal or not?
